Wildlife photography from around the world
A happy return to our beloved Sabah and a short exploration of a new area for us: Sarawak.
Very little sleep and tons of coffee helped us get through West Java, Komodo, North Sulawesi, Sumatra and Kalimantan in 16 days, resulting in fabulous sightings and unforgettable experiences.
Stuck on a remote island, forced to rent a private speedboat, almost frozen on supposedly tropical islands and heavily deprived of sleep. But… did we find what we were looking for?
An epic adventure down under filled with incredible sightings and lots of fun.
A fantastic end of the year scuba diving and herping in Malapascua, Bohol and Dauin.
Between 2024 and 2025, we joined four herping trips across southern China. Each trip comes with its own special story, from missed targets, through one of the scariest moments of Artur’s life to one of the biggest snake dreams.
Finding dream vipers, eating hot dogs and escaping the super typhoon. An all inclusive weekend birthday trip for Artur, this time to the southeast of Taiwan.
Driving above 3300 m asl; spider monkeys throwing poop at us; vultures casually eating a carcass by the road; tree climbing for frogs; encounters with all sorts of wildlife; tons of casado and gallo pinto; absolutely fantastic people...and much, much more. Pura vida!
The Galápagos Islands. A living laboratory of nature, where strict conservation rules allow the wildlife to thrive virtually untouched. One of the very few places on earth representing an almost ideal world in which animals and humans live in harmony.
Our second trip to Vietnam, this time further north to Sa Pa, Cuc Phuong and Pu Luong.
A herping trip to Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands and Fraser’s Hill.
Our second trip to Malaysian Borneo, this time to the south-east coast of Sabah. We kicked off with scuba diving in Mabul, Sipadan and Kapalai, then moved on to Tawau and Kinabatangan for herping and river safaris respectively, and it all ended with a short herping in Kota Kinabalu.
Absolutely stunning and unique wildlife, heartbreaking habitat destruction and extreme poverty, all in one. Madagascar.
Another weekend trip to Taiwan’s “snake highway” - this time hitting the main targets!
Artur’s herping trip to Luzon, Batanes and Palawan, ended with scuba diving in Anilao.
Artur’s adventure in completely new habitats.
An absolutely epic return to Sri Lanka 6 long years after our first visit. Lush forests, an exciting safari and wonderful hospitality.
Our second trip to Thailand and one of the most blissful holidays we’ve ever had. Scuba diving, herping and chilling!
A weekend trip to Taiwan’s “snake highway”.
Artur’s intense trip to Vietnam, from Hon Soi Island, through Central Vietnam to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
